Sit n Sew (Every Tuesday | 12–6:00 PM)

Sit n Sew is an open sewing session designed for independent sewing, quilting, mending, and project work. Come and go anytime during the day, settle in, and enjoy dedicated creative time with fellow sewists and quilters who love making things just as much as you do. Whether you stay for an hour or spend the whole afternoon sewing, it’s a great way to make progress on projects, share ideas, and enjoy being part of the sewing community.

One of the best parts? You’re sewing right inside the shop — so if you realize you need an extra notion, more thread, batting, or the perfect fabric to finish your project, help is right there. Our knowledgeable shop staff is available throughout the day for quick troubleshooting, helpful tips, color matching, fabric suggestions, and little expert tricks to help keep your project moving smoothly.

Because Sit n Sew is designed as independent sewing time, it isn’t intended for step-by-step instruction, learning to use a sewing machine, binding tutorials, spray basting lessons, or extended one-on-one teaching. We’re always happy to answer quick questions and help when we can, but larger instructional help is better suited for a private lesson.

Need more one-on-one help? We offer private sewing and quilting lessons for beginners and experienced makers alike. Whether you need help learning your machine, understanding a technique, finishing a quilt, or getting unstuck on a project, we’re happy to help.

Private lessons are $35/hour. Call 321-768-2060 to schedule.

Please leave pets at home during Sit n Sew sessions. We love seeing your dogs during regular shopping visits, but because Sit n Sew is a longer shared sewing session with limited space and lots of equipment set up, we ask that pets not attend the event. Service animals are always welcome.

No refunds or credits due to limited seating.
