Big Giant Quilted Bow with Kelley

Big Giant Quilted Bow – 2-Day Class
November 7 & 14 | 1:00–5:00 PM
You’ve seen them all over social media—now come make your own Big Giant Quilted Bow! Using the viral pattern by Lindsey Grace Creates, we’ll spend two afternoons piecing, quilting, and assembling this oversized statement bow.
Choose your favorite mix of fabrics to create a bow that’s completely your own. Make it festive for Christmas, coordinate it with your favorite seasonal décor, or choose fabrics you can display year-round! These giant bows are perfect for doors, walls, mantels, wreaths, holiday displays, and anywhere else that could use a little oversized quilted fun.
This is a two-day class, giving us plenty of time to work through the project together from piecing the patchwork front to quilting, construction, and final assembly.
Dates: Saturday, November 7 & Saturday, November 14
Time: 1:00–5:00 PM both days
Class Fee: $50
Pattern: Each student must have their own copy of The Big Giant Quilted Bow by Lindsey Grace Creates. When registering, choose either Class Only if you already own the pattern, or Class + Pattern if you need a copy.
Supplies (available for purchase in shop):
-
75 assorted 4" fabric squares — approximately 7–9 coordinating fabrics works beautifully - recommend 1/4 yard of each fabric
-
3 yards of 45"-wide batting — 80/20 polyester/cotton batting works well; the loftier, the better! A fuller batting helps give your finished bow enough structure to stand up instead of being floppy.
-
1½ yards non-directional coordinating fabric for the reverse side of the bow
-

Sewing machine in good working order
-
Coordinating thread
-
1"-wide Velcro dots/pieces
-
Zip ties
-
1 D-ring or key ring
-
Basic sewing supplies
-
Optional: Terial Magic Fabric Stabilizer — For an even fuller, more structured bow, Terial Magic can be applied to your fabrics before pressing. It is not required, but can provide additional body and help your finished bow hold its shape.
Basic sewing and quilting experience is recommended. Students should be comfortable operating their sewing machine and sewing an accurate seam.
