The Spellbound Hat with Beth

Spellbound Hat – 2-Day Class
October 19 & 26 | 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
Instructor: Beth
Class Fee: $50 + supplies
Just in time for Halloween! The Spellbound Hat by Melissa Mortenson Sewing Designs has been popping up all over social media, and it’s easy to see why. This oversized quilted witch hat is part sewing project, part Halloween décor, and entirely too much fun.
During this two-day class, Beth will guide you through creating your own Spellbound Hat, from the patchwork crown and structured brim to the lining, binding, and finishing details. Choose spooky Halloween prints, sophisticated blacks and purples, or an entirely unexpected color palette to make your hat uniquely yours.
The finished hat makes a fantastic Halloween decoration—and, of course, you can wear it! With two five-hour sessions, we’ll have plenty of time to work through the construction and those finishing details that give the hat its wonderfully dramatic shape.
Pattern: Each student is required to have their own copy of the Spellbound Hat pattern by Melissa Mortenson Sewing Designs. When registering, choose Class Only if you already own the pattern or Class + Pattern if you need a copy.
